Starting from what is actually happening
Policy often has to respond to change while that change is still unfolding. Policy in Motion starts from what people and organisations are actually experiencing.
We want to observe emerging challenges, connect perspectives, explore ideas in practice and turn what we learn into useful questions, signals and recommendations for public institutions.
This is a starting point. We are not presenting a finished policy programme or claiming an established body of research. As letsmove.now gathers more observations, conversations, projects and evidence, we will publish what we learn here.
How the work moves
Six movements, repeated rather than completed. Each one only becomes stronger as real observations accumulate.

Observe
Notice what actually changes for people in workplaces, communities, education and public services.

Bring perspectives together that rarely meet: practitioners, builders, institutions and the people affected.

Experiment
Explore ideas in practice at small scale, where being wrong is cheap and learning is fast.

Learn
Write down what held and what did not, including the uncertainty, instead of only the encouraging parts.

Recommend
Turn what we learn into questions, signals and recommendations that an institution can actually use.

Where there is genuine interest, explore what a small, well-scoped pilot could look like.
A starting point, not a programme
We are at the beginning. There is no established evidence base here yet, no finished policy programme and no portfolio of public-sector pilots. This section will become stronger as observations, conversations and projects accumulate, and we will say plainly what we do and do not know.
